TRX: suspension training

The TRX is a type of training based on a system of straps attached to a ceiling. Invented by the American Navy SEALS, the technique involves suspending the body to exercise the muscles: it leverages the person’s weight to create resistance. The TRX develops body awareness and improves general stability by developing and strengthening long deep muscles. It is very safe, offers little risk of injury and is appropriate for any age and physical fitness.

CrossFit: intense training

CrossFit is a training system focused on physical strength and conditioning. Pullups, burpees, squats, sprints, and box jumps are just some of the movements, which are mostly related to aerobic exercise, gymnastics and weight lifting. This training increases muscular endurance, flexibility, co-ordination, speed and muscle tone. But careful! Each CrossFit class comes with a technical description of how to execute each movement to avoid injury. It is therefore recommended you be accompanied by a trainer.

Yoga and hot yoga: the alliance of body and soul

Yoga and Pilates are disciplines focusing on physical and mental fitness. They consist of stretching, strengthening and concentration exercises aimed at greater body awareness. Hot yoga is practiced in a room heated to 38°C. It involves both muscular and cardiovascular training, which too has numerous physical and mental benefits.
